Updating BG-Map 2012 to Work With AutoCAD 2013

This document explains how to update BG-Map 2012 to work properly with AutoCAD 2013.

Three steps are required.

1. Install the BG-Map Workstation Update version 3 (v3.)

To do this, go to this page. Download the BG-Map 2012 Workstation file v3. On each computer that runs BG-Map, open the downloaded file. When prompted for the folder to unzip to, accept the default, which is C:\

2. Install BG-Map Update 2012-001

This update should download and install automatically. For details, see the BG-Map updates page.

3. Update the User Setup

Go to BG-Map User Setup, set the AutoCAD type as AutoCAD 2013 and set the AutoCAD program location to the location containing AutoCAD 2013. For details, click here.

Note: The behavior of the command line in AutoCAD 2013 has changed.
